Lei's Acupuncture ("we," "us," or "our") is an independently operated, Florida-licensed acupuncture clinic located in Winter Garden, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit leisacupuncture.com, contact us, or schedule care at our clinic.
Lei's Acupuncture is the HIPAA covered entity responsible for your Protected Health Information (PHI). When you receive clinical care from Lei Dong, L.Ac., AP, NCCAOM Diplomate of Acupuncture, your PHI is collected, stored, and used in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 and applicable Florida law.
We may use your PHI to provide treatment, obtain payment, and conduct routine healthcare operations. We may also disclose your PHI as required or permitted by law (for example, to public health authorities or in response to valid legal process).
You have the right to: request access to your medical records; request amendments to your records; request restrictions on certain uses and disclosures; receive an accounting of disclosures; receive a paper copy of our full Notice of Privacy Practices; and file a complaint with us or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights. Lei's Acupuncture is an independently operated, Florida-licensed acupuncture clinic and a founding partner clinic of Harmony Pain Alliance (HPA). HPA is a patient referral and information platform; HPA is not a HIPAA covered entity. HPA does not own, operate, or share medical responsibility with Lei's Acupuncture.
Clinical care and Protected Health Information (PHI) are handled exclusively by Lei's Acupuncture. We do not share PHI with HPA or any other third party, except as permitted or required by HIPAA.
When you visit leisacupuncture.com, we may collect: information you provide (name, email, phone number, and any health-related information you choose to share when scheduling an appointment or contacting us); and limited automatic technical information used for website performance and basic visitor measurement (such as approximate geographic region, device type, and pages visited).

Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not track individual visitors across websites, and does not collect personal identifiers such as IP addresses for advertising purposes. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising or behavioral tracking tools on this website.
Some patients arrive at Lei's Acupuncture through Harmony Pain Alliance (HPA), an independent patient referral and information platform. When you submit an appointment request through HPA, HPA collects only your name, phone number, and email address for the sole purpose of facilitating your referral to Lei's Acupuncture. HPA does not collect, store, or process any Protected Health Information (PHI), including medical history, diagnosis, or treatment records.
Once HPA transfers your contact information to Lei's Acupuncture, all subsequent appointment scheduling and clinical care is handled by Lei's Acupuncture through Jane App, our HIPAA-compliant booking and practice management platform. From this point forward, your PHI is processed exclusively by Lei's Acupuncture and Jane App; HPA has no further access to your information.

We use website information to respond to your inquiries and schedule appointments, improve our website's content and user experience, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Online booking on this website is provided through Jane App, a HIPAA-compliant practice management platform. Any Protected Health Information (PHI) you submit through online booking is processed via Jane App under its HIPAA Business Associate Agreement with Lei's Acupuncture; Lei's Acupuncture remains the HIPAA covered entity responsible for your PHI.
